ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Friday clubbed the all petitions registered against the members of national and provincial assemblies including the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif under the allegations of concealing their assets.
ECP conducted the hearing of the case of disqualification of Minister Shahram Khan Tarakai and Muhammad Ali Khan – registered by Bushra Gohar – and adjourned till August 17.
Earlier the hearing of petitions registered by the Pakistan Tehreek-e Insaf (PTI) including other political parties against Nawaz Sharif was also adjourned till August 17 while the commission seeking reply from Safdar during the hearing of the case filed by PTI’s Nawabzada Salahuddin.
Salahuddin called for Safdar’s disqualification as he, in his annual wealth declaration papers, concealed assets registered in the name of his spouse Maryam.
