ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will chair a meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC) here on Friday.
This will be the prime minister’s first meeting after returning to Islamabad, a journey which he embarked upon yesterday from his Jati Umra residence in Lahore.
Matters related to the National Action Plan, Zarb-e-Azb military offensive and Karachi operation would also come under discussion during the meeting.
The meeting will also be attended by top brass of the civil and military leadership – including ministers for defence, interior and PM’s chief aides.
